News 12 Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Michele Powers says rain and possibly some snow will affect the evening commute on Monday.
Higher elevations in Connecticut can see some wet snow mixing in late by 10 p.m. Wintry precipitation will be confined to higher terrain with minimal accumulation. 
Mainly rain for Fairfield County. Northern areas may see snow mix in late.
OVERNIGHT: Clear and calmer. Less wind. Lows in the 30s. Wind: W 5-10 mph.
MONDAY: Sun to start, rain for the afternoon and evening. Highs in the 50s. Wind: NW shifting S 5-10 mph.
TUESDAY: Showers early, turning sunny. Highs near 50.
WEDNESDAY: A mix of sun and clouds. Highs in the 50s.
THURSDAY: Mostly sunny and mild. Highs around 50.
FRIDAY: Increasing clouds with showers late. Highs near 50.
SATURDAY: Warm and breezy with a shower chance. Highs in the 60s.
SUNDAY: Partly cloudy, cooler, and breezy. Highs in the 40s.
