Police: Waterbury woman arrested for threatening Southbury Stop & Shop employees with knife

Morgan Leach, 29, faces several charges, including robbery and larceny.

Police say a Waterbury woman was arrested for brandishing a knife at Stop & Shop employees in Southbury during a suspected robbery last month.
Morgan Leach, 29, was arrested Wednesday by Southbury police after an investigation into the incident at the supermarket. Her bail is posted at $150,000.
Leach faces several charges, including robbery, larceny, threatening in the second degree and breach of peace.
She was transported to the York Correctional Facility in Niantic. She is due in court Thursday.
