It will be pleasantly cool Wednesday before some heavy rain comes through Thursday.
News 12 Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Hope Osemwenkhae's says Wednesday will see highs in the 50s with scattered showers arriving after 5 p.m.
Osemwenkhae says steady rain will continue Thursday morning with a few possible breaks in the afternoon. If we get some sunshine, this will create enough instability in the atmosphere for an isolated non-severe thunderstorm Thursday night into Friday.
A winter weather advisory has been issued for parts of Litchfield County from 11 p.m. Wednesday until 12 p.m. Thursday for freezing rain. The hazardous conditions could impact the Thursday morning commute.
Another burst of rain is possible Friday morning before drying out.
