Westfield Trumbull Mall says will open May 20 as the state begins its reopening process.
The mall will be open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Monday through Saturday, and 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sundays.
The company says it will increase cleanings of high-contact areas like bathrooms, the food court and water fountains.
It also says it will control how many people enter the mall by capping its capacity at 50 %.
Fitting rooms will also be closed inside of stores, and there will be physical barriers set in place for shoppers.
There will also be markers informing customers to remain 6 feet apart at the checkout lanes and doors.
There will also be hand sanitizer and cleaning wipes at the entrances of the mall.
Restrooms, play areas, and water fountains will all be cleaned frequently, mall officials say.
Both customers and employees are required to wear masks at all times.
