Bridgeport's Class of 2020 is receiving some sweet congratulations from Westport and Weston residents.
Aarti Khosla owns Le Rouge chocolatier in Westport. Over the past two weeks, she's turned over 250 pounds of chocolate into more than 1,100 painted hearts - one for each graduating senior in Bridgeport's Class of 2020.
"It takes about 20 minutes per heart. So I've been pulling about 20-hour days for the last seven days," said Khosla.
The hearts were sponsored by Westport and Weston residents, each with an inspirational message.
Khosla says she couldn't have gotten the project done without dozens of volunteers. She said 10-year-olds came in to help, as well as people in their 70s.
Khosla is molding hearts all year long with the Give A Little Love campaign. Ten percent of proceeds go to charity.
