The Westport Woman's Club is gearing up for its annual Epic Clothing and Accessories Sale.
New and lightly used clothing and accessories donated from people in the area will be put on sale on the first floor of the Westport Woman's Club in Westport.
"The whole community benefits. People benefit by cleaning out their closets, and the community benefits from the sale," says Robin Clark, president of the Westport Woman's Club.
Funds from the sale will support charitable initiatives like scholarships and grants. Community members are encouraged to apply for their grants here.
"It's so important, there are so many people in need in our community," says Clark.
The sale continues to give back to those most in need. Clarks says the clothing that is not sold will be donated to local organizations such as Bridgeport Rescue Mission and Dress for Success.
Donations will be accepted until Oct. 25. Items can be dropped off Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. and 1-4 p.m.
The sale will be held Friday, Nov. 8 from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.; Saturday, Nov. 9 from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.; and Sunday, Nov. 10 from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. at the WWC’s Imperial Avenue historical clubhouse.
