Westport police say a missing 71-year-old woman has been found safe after a silver alert was issued.

Westport police say a missing 71-year-old woman has been found safe after a silver alert was issued.
A Silver Alert was issued for Yaroslava Cayvskaya, also known as Yaroslava Resnik on August 8.
Police say she walked away from her home on Weston Road, possibly with two suitcases, some time after 7:15 a.m. on Aug. 7.
On August 10, 2020, the Westport Police Department was informed Yaroslava Cayvskaya returned home.
Officers responded to her residence and confirmed she was present and appeared in fine health.
The silver alert has been cancelled.
