Westport students get extra day of winter break as school works out COVID-related issues

Schools in Westport are extending their winter break an extra day due to issues related to COVID-19.
Students will now come back Tuesday instead of Monday.
The school superintendent sent out a message citing staffing concerns based on infection rates.
Faculty and staff are still set to go back Monday.
The superintendent says more information can be expected this weekend as officials develop a plan for the next few weeks.
