The controversy surrounding a stone wall in Westport may linger after lawyers cast doubt on a quick resolution. The Hancock family has had one neighbor file an injunction to have them take the wall down.

The controversy surrounding a stone wall in Westport may linger after lawyers cast doubt on a quick resolution.
The Hancock family has had one neighbor file an injunction to have them take the wall down. The Town of Westport also says the wall violates zoning laws.
The Hancocks say they built the wall back in 2005, in part to protect their property. They say a verbal agreement with the town made clear the wall complied with all laws.
