Police received a report on Friday about a girl being forced into a car on Wilton Road around 5:15 p.m.

Wilton police said an incident in which a girl appeared to be forced into a vehicle was not an abduction.
Police received a report on Friday about a girl being forced into a car on Wilton Road around 5:15 p.m.
The driver refused to pull over for officers.
The girl then jumped out of the moving car in Ridgefield, according to detectives.
The car wound up crashing and several juveniles who were inside the vehicle fled on foot.
They were all found and handed over to their parents.
The girl who jumped out of the car suffered minor injures.
