Wilton police say they have identified a possible suspect in connection with the ATM skimmers found outside Fairfield County Bank last month.
The bank is located on Old Ridgefield Road, where the device stole card information and compromised several people's accounts, officials say.
Police say that skimming incidents are on the rise. The devices, which read and copy card information, are often paired with cameras that aim to record ATM users as they enter their PIN numbers.
Experts say customers should examine ATMs before using them.
The president of Fairfield County Bank owner says the bank has made changes to the machines and has enhanced its surveillance system.
