A parking ban is in effect in Winchester until 6 p.m. Wednesday because of the impending nor'easter.

Violators could be fined or towed for parking on the street.

There are some lots where you can leave your car, including at Pearson, Hinsdale and Batcheller schools. 

Cars have to be removed by Wednesday and 8 a.m.
