Police announced murder charges Tuesday for a woman suspected of killing a Stamford woman five years ago.
Sheila Davaloo is being charged with the murder of Anna Lisa Raymundo, who was stabbed to death in her Harbor Drive condo in 2002. Police believe Davaloo, who was a co-worker of Raymundo's, killed the woman after becoming involved with her boyfriend.
Police say they spent many hours over "five painstaking years" working on the case. Investigators have questioned hundreds of people from as far away as England about the death, including Raymundo's boyfriend at the time.
Davaloo is currently sitting in a New York prison for the attempted murder of her husband. Authorities plan to extradite the woman back to Connecticut in order to face the murder charge.
