Woman charged with DUI following wrong-way crash on Route 8 in Shelton

Andrea Lynn Marseglia, a 39-year-old woman from Orange, is facing multiple charges after a wrong-way crash on Route 8 in Shelton early Wednesday morning.
According to state police, Marseglia was driving drunk and heading south in the northbound lanes when she collided head-on with another vehicle near Exit 12.
The crash resulted in the driver and a child passenger of the other vehicle being taken to the hospital. Marseglia was not seriously injured and was released on a $5,000 bond.
