A not guilty verdict has been reached in a high-profile murder trial in Bridgeport.
The jury found Cherelle Baldwin not guilty in the death of Jeffrey Brown during her second trial in the case.
Baldwin was accused of pinning her boyfriend into a wall with her car in 2013.
Her attorney and domestic violence advocates argued Baldwin was the victim in this case and was trying to get away from Brown after he choked her with a belt.
Baldwin had been behind bars since her arrest. Her first trial ended in a hung jury.
