Woodbridge teen seriously hurt in crash

A Woodbridge teenager is fighting for his life following a serious car accident in Beacon Falls over the weekend. It happened at the intersection of Blackberry Road and Oakwood Drive around 9:30 p.m.

A Woodbridge teenager is fighting for his life following a serious car accident in Beacon Falls over the weekend.
It happened at the intersection of Blackberry Road and Oakwood Drive around 9:30 p.m. Saturday.
Firefighters say a utility pole went into the driver's side door and hit Saldi Hyska, 17, trapping him in the car.
Officials say it took more than 10 minutes to cut Hyska free.
Two other Amity students were in the car. They were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
