This weekend marks 40 years since President Richard Nixon resigned from office. While some Bronx residents may be too young to recall the historic event, News 12 took to the streets to ask what some big life events were for them.
Residents News 12 spoke to almost unanimously agreed that Sept. 11 was a major life event for them, being able to vividly describe what they were doing and where they were when it took place, a phenomenon psychologists refer to as a "flashbulb memory."
Others say the death of Michael Jackson was another event that sparked strong emotions.
