The Fairfield American Little League is set to be honored at Yankee Stadium tonight following their impressive run at the Little League World Series.
During their visit, they will meet the New York Yankees players, go out on the field with them for the national anthem, and have great seats to watch the home team take on the Boston Red Sox.
The team’s manager Mike Randazzo is calling the kids’ experience a thrill of a lifetime, saying that many of the players are Yankees and Red Sox fans.
While the team fell to a Texas team in the semi-finals, they made team history by going farther than ever before.
News 12 Connecticut has learned that the team is heading to Fenway next weekend for another honor.
