'You’re going to need it’ – Doctor urges creation of MyChartPLUS account for vaccine rollout

Registration for Phase 1B began on Thursday, meaning tens of thousands of eligible residents are all trying to schedule their appointments at the same time.
News 12’s Caren Pinto was at St. Vincent’s Health Medical Center in Bridgeport to speak with doctors about the rollout.
Dr. Dan Gottschall, the vice president of medical affairs, encouraged all Connecticut residents to make a MyChartPLUS account through Hartford HealthCare to make the vaccine appointment process easier.
"Everybody's going to be eligible, so I would urge people to create that MyChartPLUS account because you're going to need it,” he says.
Dr. Gotchall says they are in the process of finalizing other sites where residents can get the COVID-19 vaccine, including a location in Shelton.
