A Stamford High School community is mourning the death of a 16-year-old boy.
Police say the boy's mother found him unresponsive in their Glenbrook Road home on Wednesday shortly after 8 p.m. Abdulla Jamsu was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The family says they believe he fell and hit his head, but police say there is no evidence of a fall or any other trauma.
Police also say there is no sign of foul play or drug use.
Officers say the family has refused to have an autopsy based on religious reasons. Police say they will have to talk to friends and doctors to try and piece together what could have killed Jamsu.
