189 cats removed from Winchester home moved to shelters, many put up for adoption at local agencies

All of the surviving 189 cats removed from a Winchester home have now been moved to shelters and rescues.

All of the surviving 189 cats removed from a Winchester home have now been moved to shelters and rescues.
Winchester Town Manager Josh Kelly says a total of 12 agencies now have custody of the cats.
The animals were found in various degrees of health last month.
Kelly says many of the cats are now available for adoption at the following adoption agencies:

Protectors of Animals - East Hartford
CT Cat Connection - Windsor
Friends of Berlin - Berlin
Paws 4 Life Animal Rescue of CT - Bolton
Meriden Humane Society - Meriden
Ferret Association of Connecticut, Inc. - Hartford
Paws Cat Shelter CT - Woodstock
Chimera Sanctuary & Rescue - Winsted
The Queenie Foundation, Inc. - Manchester
The Animal Haven - North Haven
Purr Feline Friends - Torrington
