Police are asking for the public’s help to identify two suspects accused in three armed robberies Thursday night in Bridgeport and Fairfield.
The first robbery took place at Brooklawn Discount Liquor on Brooklawn Avenue in Fairfield shortly after 7:30 p.m.
Police released surveillance images of the men caught on camera holding up the store cashier at gunpoint.
Fairfield police say the duo also stole the cashier's bracelet and mugged a customer inside the store for their wallet before leaving.
Police say the suspects' next stop was J & E liquor on Wayne Street in Bridgeport around 8 p.m.
Minutes later, the owner of Pizza Heaven, Riza Sahin, says the armed suspects showed up at his business.
Sahin, who was not in the business at the time of the robbery, says the gunman kept repeating a simple demand to his clerk, saying, “More money. More money.”
