Stratford police arrested two teens Friday for allegedly breaking into a local diner.
According to police, the 15- and 16-year-old boys tried to break through a boarded-up window in the back of the Surf Package store. Police say when the teens couldn?t get into the liquor store, they broke into Joe?s Diner instead.
The owner of the diner says someone pried off a metal grate over one of the windows in the back of the restaurant, broke the window and worked their way inside. She says though the kitchen was a mess, the teens didn?t get away with much.
Police are not releasing the names of the suspects because they are minors.
