Two teen brothers had their day in court Tuesday after allegedly assaulting their father with a snow shovel during Monday?s storm.

Police say Willi Almonte, 19, and his 17-year-old brother hit their father in the head with a shovel outside their home on Cambridge Road. According to police, the teens? father had asked them to help dig out their driveway. Willi Almonte?s lawyer told the judge his client acted in self-defense.

Willi Almonte is due back in court on April 7 and will not be allowed to return home when released.
