A dog died on Friday morning following a fire in Stratford.

Fire officials say it happened on Wilbar Drive just after 10 a.m.

Upon arrival, firefighters found the entire porch and adjoining rooms fully engulfed in flames. The fire also extended into the attic.

A dog was pulled from home but died while being resuscitated. No one else was hurt.
