A Greenwich man is suing the town and its speed camera vendor, Blue Line Solutions.
In his lawsuit, Stephen Lockton claims that the town didn't hold a required public hearing before passing its speed camera law.
The lawsuit argues that the contract with Blue Line violates state law because the vendor is paid a fee based on the number of violations.
The goal of the suit is to end the town camera ordinance and refund anyone who has been fined.
