Rockland Music Fest returns to Haverstraw with traffic safety mission
The annual festival returns to Bowline Point Park on Saturday Sept. 12 with live music, food, vendors and a fundraising mission to support families impacted by traffic crashes.

Rockland Music Fest will return this year, this time at Bowline Point Park in the Town of Haverstraw, marking the event's 12th year and bringing with it a renewed focus on traffic safety.
The event will take place Sept. 12 at noon. Organizer Tom Ossa says attendees can expect an exciting day of entertainment as the festival makes its annual return to Rockland County.
"Expect one heck of a show. We've been working really hard the last three months," Ossa said.
The festival will feature six bands, including the headliner "Appetite For Destruction," a Guns N' Roses Tribute band.
Performances are expected to start at 2 p.m. There will also be food trucks and local vendors.
For Ossa, this year's theme is especially personal. He says the festival will focus on raising awareness about traffic safety while supporting families who have been affected by serious crashes.
"This one is a bit more personal to me from previous years. My father was actually killed in a car accident when I was 12 years old," Ossa said.
"We're going to be donating to several families that lost a loved one or have a victim from an accident," he added. Among those expected to benefit is a motorcyclist hit in November 2025.
Organizers hope to raise at least $10,000 through this year's event. Tickets to Rockland Music Fest XII are $24.
