Four people were hospitalized when a vehicle veered off I-95 in Westport Sunday morning.
It happened around 6 a.m. in the northbound lanes about a half-mile past Exit 18.
State police say the vehicle left the roadway and went down an embankment.
One of the car's four occupants was trapped in the vehicle and had to be extricated. Fire crews used a rope system to lift the person up the embankment.
The people involved in the crash haven't been identified and there's no word on the extent of their injuries.
The cause of the crash is unclear at this time.
