Police say burglars made off with $500,000 worth of name brand jewelry and watches from a high-end Greenwich shop overnight Thursday.
The burglary took place at Farah Shanal Jewelry Store on East Putnam Avenue. Police say the burglars broke in by first cutting the phone and alarm wires, and then busting the lock on the back door.
Though devastated, the owners are insured. Anyone with information is asked to contact Greenwich police.
