A little girl got the royal treatment in Milford today, thanks to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
Alonna Beard, 7, had her wish granted to be pampered like a princess at Sundae Spa in Milford.
Alonna and her younger sister Skylar had their nails painted and more with a little help from her favorite Disney princess, Cinderella.
After Alonna's spa trip, the Make-A-Wish Foundation surprised her and her sister with a special ride in a pumpkin-shaped horse-drawn carriage with Cinderella.
Alonna's mother tells News 12 Connecticut that her daughter suffers from sarcoidosis. She says that with sarcoidosis, the prognosis is unknown but she knows that her little girl is strong and wise beyond her years.
Make-A-Wish Connecticut will grant about 170 wishes this year to children with life-threatening illnesses.
Alonna and her family will leave for Walt Disney World next week, and she will have a special meeting with Cinderella at her castle.
