Eight people are without a home after what officials are calling a suspicious fire at an apartment building in Bridgeport.
The incident happened late Monday night on Beechwood Avenue near Norman Street.
Officials say a domestic incident led to the start of the fire, but an official cause has yet to be determined.
News 12 is told everyone made it out of the building safely.
The Red Cross is assisting those displaced by the fire.
Officials say one person was taken to the hospital for smoke inhalation.
