With Thanksgiving over, some Fairfield residents started celebrating Christmas by taking in the dazzling sights of a holiday lighting display.
Hundreds of people showed up for the "Wonderland at Roseville" lighting at a house on Roseville Terrace. More than 200,000 lights and more than 200 animated figures were used to set up the display.
Gene and Mary Halliwell, the owners, said donations to see the display will go to Shriners Hospitals for Children. The Halliwells said they have partnered with hospitals.
The display, which can be seen until New Year's Day, has been a Fairfield staple for about 16 years.
