Police say an armed carjacking led to a police pursuit and two arrests Sunday afternoon near the intersection of Pine and Bishop streets.

Officers say a man was sitting in his car when he was approached by one of the suspects who pulled out a gun and stole the vehicle.

When police tried to stop the suspects, the driver took off.

After a brief chase, the driver lost control and crashed into a wall.

A man and a woman were both taken into custody.
