Greenwich police are searching for two armed men who robbed an antique shop Monday morning, making off with an undetermined amount of jewelry.
Officers say the two men walked into Estate Treasures Antiques and Consignments on East Putnam Avenue just after 10 a.m. Police say the store had just opened, so only employees were inside and no one was hurt.
Authorities conducted a widespread search of the area with the help of police dogs. Officers say they also found a car parked outside the store that was reported stolen in Bridgeport. Investigators are trying to figure out if the two incidents are connected.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Greenwich Police Department at 203-622-8054.
