Milford police have arrested an individual in connection with a street takeover incident that occurred in July.
Police reported that Nashaly Vega-Vega, 24, of New Haven, turned herself in Tuesday after a warrant was issued for her arrest.
On July 8 around 7 p.m., authorities reported that approximately 300 dirt bikes, ATVs, and motorcycles moved through Milford, engaging in traffic violations and creating significant traffic disruptions.
Officers stated that Vega-Vega used her motorcycle to obstruct a police car that was attempting to respond to an earlier accident caused by the group. They added that the rider involved in that crash managed to escape.
Vega-Vega is facing multiple charges and has been released on a promise to appear.
