A local artist gave a Darien building a facelift to provide a Halloween treat for residents.
Baywater Properties let artist Brian Kaspr display his creativity on the house while it's still standing.
"Because it's being torn down, we could do anything— we wanted make spooky and bright," Kaspr says.
Those in Halloween costumes— and their dogs— used the space as the perfect backdrop for a Halloween photo shoot during a year when traditions have had to change due to the pandemic.
"I think this is a great example of how we can be in the Halloween spirit, while being safe and having fun, that's what it's all about, " says Jessica Jaramillo, of Norwalk.
Residents who gave a donation to the Corbin Cares or Darien Foundation for Families could get a professional photo taken in front of the house.
