Multiple vehicles caught on fire in Morris Heights, according to the FDNY.

The fire happened at 1534 Nelson Ave. just before 2 p.m.

A witness on scene told News 12 people were barbecuing in a parking lot when things started to catch fire.

Seventy-nine fire and EMS personnel responded to the scene.

The FDNY says there were no injuries.
