Baseball field set on fire by person during rain delay
A rain delay at a high school baseball game caused someone to set a fire in an apparent attempt to dry the field.
An individual allegedly poured gasoline onto the field and started a fire during a Ridgefield High School baseball game at Governor Park.
No one was injured or appeared in danger during the incident.
The infield now has to be excavated and replaced with clean soil to fix the damage.
