WHAT'S NEW: Storm for weekend will have a little more front-end snow. One to 2 inches potentially before change to wintry mix and then moderate to heavy rain.
WHAT'S NEXT: Mild weather today with highs in the 40s and wet conditions. Colder for Friday and need to watch out for morning black ice.
Possible coastal flooding during high tide times this morning along the South Shore.
TODAY: Cloudy. Rain, mainly before noon. Cloudy skies will give way to a few late day breaks of sunshine. High near 47. East wind 5 to 15 mph becoming west in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 25 mph. Wet slick roads, large puddles from melting snow.
TONIGHT: Mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming clear, with a low around 26. Wind chill values between 15 and 20. Northwest wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph. Watch for Black ice.
Friday: Valentine's day. Mostly Sunny, with a high near 34. Wind chill values between 15 and 25. West wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 30mph.
Friday Night: Bundle up. Cold. Dry weather. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 21. Northwest wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening.
Saturday: Cloudy. Snow developing between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. then rain and snow. 1 to 2 inches of snow before a change to rain. High near 39. Weather could impact flight and travel plans.
Saturday Night: STORM WATCH. Cloudy. Rain and snow, becoming all rain after 7 p.m. Low around 35.
Sunday: Cloudy. Periods of rain. Some rain will be moderate to heavy at times. High near 50. Street flooding possible. Weather could impact flight and travel plans.
SUNDAY NIGHT: Some rain may end as a brief period of snow showers. Breezy and turning colder. Clouds giving way to clearing skies by morning. Watch for black ice with temperatures in the 20s.
