Park City Prep students in Bridgeport were sent home early Thursday after the school reportedly received a bomb threat.
Parents from the school, located on Barnum Avenue, say they received calls to pick up their children. The students were moved to Bridge Academy, where some waited for parents and others waited for buses.
Park City Prep Director Bruce Ravage told News 12 Connecticut that police inspected the campus and deemed it is safe for students to return.
The incident only affected Park City Prep School, not Park City Magnet School. Park City Prep says classes will be in session Friday.
