Bridgeport City Council hears opposing views during Gaza's ceasefire resolution debate

The Bridgeport City Council passed a resolution calling for a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas back in January but members of the Jewish community allege their voices were not heard during the initial discussion.
On Tuesday, dozens of people from different faith groups flooded the City Hall chambers with signs, flags and posters.

The CEO of the Jewish Federation of Greater Fairfield County claimed the current ceasefire resolution calls for the “destruction of Israel.”
