A small vigil was held in Bridgeport Thursday near the site of a double homicide that happened early Sunday morning.
Police say two men were fatally shot in an illegal after-hours club, which was operated out of the basement.
Charles Barnes, 38, was found dead inside the location, while 40-year-old Charles Peters was transported to St. Vincent’s Hospital where he later died.
Organizers of the vigil says they're coming together in unity for the families, but want the city to work toward ending gun violence.
Police are still looking into a possible suspect and are asking anyone with information to call their tip line at 203-576-TIPS.
