A Bridgeport family is pleading with the public to help find an electric wheelchair they say was stolen from their front porch on Brooklawn Avenue.
Wilfredo Valentin says his son, who did not want to be named, uses the wheelchair.
He says the smaller electric wheelchair helps him access the kitchen, bedroom and most importantly the bathroom.
Valentin says with a price tag of just under $10,000, a new electric wheelchair is not an option.
