Bridgeport leaders are vowing to rebuild after a fire destroyed a community garden that provides fresh produce to thousands of people in the city.
As News 12 Connecticut previously reported, flames broke out at the Reservoir Community Farm on Reservoir Avenue at around 9:30 p.m. Monday.
Police say Jimmy Grant was arrested after witnesses identified him as the man who started the blaze. Grant is now facing arson charges.
Mayor Finch says that the city is committed to helping Green Village Initiative get back on its feet and continue its mission.
