A Bridgeport man who received a donation for a grave marker for his late sister finally got to dedicate the headstone yesterday. Dan Maldonado says his sister Minerva, died of complications from diabetes

A Bridgeport man who received a donation for a grave marker for his late sister finally got to dedicate the headstone yesterday.
Dan Maldonado says his sister Minerva, died of complications from diabetes in 2012. He says he couldn't properly mark her grave site at the time. A News 12 viewer stepped in and donated $1,400 for the headstone.
Maldonado says he's filled with gratitude. "It's the best Christmas present I ever could get," he says. "I could get clothes, I could get anything, but this is the best Christmas present."
The person who donated the money wants to remain anonymous, according to Maldonado.
