A Bridgeport man was found guilty of robbing a Mohegan Sun Casino guest in 2022, according to state officials.
They said 33-year-old Edward Taylor was charged with robbery and larceny.
Taylor and one other man robbed a patron at knifepoint at a Mobile gas station on Mohegan Sun Boulevard.
The men displayed a knife and then stole $55,000 in cash from the victim, according to officials.
Police said the victim struggled with the suspects and held onto their vehicle as he tried to retrieve his money.
The victim had minor injuries from being dragged several yards, according to police documents.
Taylor's sentencing is set for Oct. 22.
