A Bridgeport man pleaded guilty to robbery in Bridgeport Federal Court on Friday.
Police say Jermaine Bethel, 27, and his associates attempted to rob an apartment in search of drugs last April. Another person acted as a getaway driver.
Officials say when the group was unable to get into the apartment, they went back to the car. The group was then stopped by police.
Officers recovered two handguns and a crowbar in the car. They also found 45 bags of crack-cocaine in Bethel's possession.
Bethel faces up to 20 years in prison.
