Bridgeport's annual St. Patrick's Day parade kicks off at noon.
Police say they will be putting about 80 barricades along the parade route around 11:30 a.m.
Parts of Main Street, Fairfield Avenue and Broad Street will be closed during the parade.
Meanwhile Norwalk will have its first ever parade.
Mayor Harry Rilling has been selected to be the first grand marshal.
That parade starts at 11 a.m. from the police department.
