Bridgeport police say they are searching for a driver who struck a bicycle rider Monday on Chopsey Hill Road around 10:30 p.m.
Police say they found a 34-year-old man lying on the street.
He was transported to the hospital where he is listed in stable condition.
Authorities say that a black Honda sedan was seen traveling west on Chopsey Hill Road and struck the cyclist in the intersection of Chopsey Hill Road near the entrance of Route 8/25 north.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the police.
