Bridgeport police: 2 men injured in shooting on Main Street

One was a 21-year-old Bridgeport man suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg, the other was an 18-year-old Bridgeport man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his leg and arm. Both victims are in stable condition.

Bridgeport police say two people were injured on Sunday night during a shooting.
Police say they responded to reports of shots fired around 10:15 p.m. near Wells Street. Upon arrival, officers were unable to find any victims. Shortly after, a hospital reported two men were being treated for gunshot wounds.
One was a 21-year-old Bridgeport man suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg, the other was an 18-year-old Bridgeport man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his leg and arm. Both victims are in stable condition.
Officers say evidence was gathered from the sidewalk in front of Max’s Grocery Store on Main Street in connection to the incident. They say it appears to have been an isolated event.
